About Wheel of name
A small tool for shared decisions, designed to make choosing simple.
A little less indecision
Wheel of name is a free random name picker by JustUtils.com for classrooms, team meetings, and everyday choices. It brings the list, the wheel, and the result together in one calm workspace, without an account or a subscription.
What the tool does
Add up to 100 entries, choose a theme, and spin to select a result. Optional winner removal helps groups work through a list without picking the same entry again. Session results can be exported as a text file, and share links let you pass a list to another device.
How selection works
The tool uses the browser’s crypto.getRandomValues API with rejection sampling to choose an index without modulo bias. Each entry has equal odds. Animation shows the selected result; it does not determine it. Repeated names are separate entries and increase that name’s overall probability.
Designed for everyday decisions
This wheel is intended for informal activities and choices. It is not an audited drawing service, a legal record, or a gambling platform. Results are stored for the current session only, so export a record when you need to keep it.
